Foundation for dark skin indian beauty

It’s no secret that it can be difficult to find the right foundation, but it can be even more difficult to find the right foundation when you have a darker skin tone. Searching for a foundation that truly matched dark skin color and didn’t make one look like wearing a fake mask.

For women of color, a lot of times harsh lighting can fail. Though foundation sometimes conceals uneven skin tone, it is still better to use a primer. Primer does well in filling fine lines, smoothing over bumps, erasing dark circles and pigmentation, correcting flaws and bringing about fine lines.

Women are not born knowing how to do a flawless cat eye or a shadowy, smoky eye, so they often turn to makeup tutorials on YouTube. A search for “smoky eye” pulls up endless videos showing how to perfectly blend eye shadows to achieve the look. But what if you had dark skin and most of the videos showed lighter-skinned women applying hues that would make you look as if you had a black eye? What if you couldn’t relate to these women, because you couldn’t see yourself in them?

Always bear in mind that darker skin show coatings of make-up a great deal more than the fair color. Extraordinary care should be taken while merging the foundation with the skin color. Make sure that the effect of make-up is checked in daytime.

Out of trend: Dark skin has red undertones; your foundation should be red, too.
Trend: Most dark-skinned women have yellow or golden undertones in their skin that means that your foundation should have those same yellow or golden undertones for the perfect match.

The foundation used should be under no circumstances of a lighter color than the color of your skin. Try your best to use the foundation which is closest to your skin color. Indulge in lighter coverage while applying the foundation.

Hyper pigmentation is a common skin problem for dark skinned girls, thus dark skin girls can really benefit from using color-correcting products to disguise any discoloration and create an even canvas for foundation. This way, dark skin girls won’t have to use as much product on top, but they can still end up with a flawless finish.

If there is more pigmentation on the skin, never make use of orange based products. A pure foundation and an extremely superior concealer are essential for giving an ideal skin.

Wrong colours of foundations look worst on dark skin. Anything too light will definitely make you turn look like an ashy ghost. Makeup also tends to oxidize on darker skins especially if you are on the oily side.

The shades of foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow, blush, and lipstick that work for a woman of color will vary from individual to individual.  Nevertheless, there are some general colors and tones that tend to work for dark skin women:

  • Yellow based foundation
  • Nude, burgundy, or earth tone lips
  • Shimmery, metallic, eye shadows
  • A general rule is the darker the skin, the brighter the colors one can “pull off”.

Applying the wrong foundation on your face, no matter how well it is applied, can have an adverse effect on your look. This is why for women who have dark skin, yellow-based foundations are the best option for you because you have warm undertones. While those having really very dark skins, a golden pink-based foundation can be a nice try as you are likely to have cool undertones.

How to start Online Fashion Boutique?

Our students are successfully running their Fashion Boutique and Beauty Parlor with MIFT support in both online and bricks mortar environment from website design to store visual merchandisng, from product design to advertising.

Since it’s clothing, there is no necessity to obtain a special license to launch your online boutique. Therefore, you’ll just need to look into the small business laws of your state and figure out the type of licensing that’s required in the area. This comes in handy for tax purposes and for avoiding any problems that may arise in the future.

The first order of business is to decide on a super specific niche.

It may sound like a good idea to take an approach similar to that of large fashion companies by selling everything from men’s clothing to jewelry, pants, shirts, and socks. But, the most successful brands start with something much smaller.

When thinking about setting up shop online you might worry:

  • Will the price tag of opening an online boutique be too high?
  • How good with computers do I need to be?
  • Won’t it take too long to get established online?
  • Will I need to hire a professional designer?

Now in 2019 there are many tools to help; Online store builders are drag and drop tools that allow anyone to create a beautiful and professional ecommerce site.

The process is simple and intuitive, so even the least technically savvy among us are now able to join the ecommerce retail community and thrive in it.

So you have decided to start your own online clothing store. It’s no surprise why: with online clothing stores being a multi-billion-a-year industry, it’s by far one of the most popular eCommerce niches. With sales expected to reach $713 billion by 2022 and emerging worldwide middle classes with disposable income, there is a lot of potential business to cash in on.

Basic steps before starting Prototype online fashion boutique :-

Step 1: Search for the gap in market and Gather Your Ideas Together then do physical and online survey.
Step 2: Do survey data analysis Which Products to Sell in Your Online Clothing Boutique
Step 3: Create or Source Your Products & do survey, collect data
Step 4: Get the Word Out take feed back and improve daily
Step 5: Set Up Your Finances for a Successful Online Business
Step 6: Manage Your Inventory for an Organized Online Business
Step 7: Build an Prototype Online Store that is On Brand then Kaizen ( Change for improvement) this for better profitability

For the majority of the population, starting a brick and mortar fashion boutique is simply out of the question. But guess what? Technology has made it possible for you to open your own online fashion store. And better yet — you don’t need any experience or money to get started!

Whatever business you decide to start you must have a passion for what you are doing. Without enthusiasm and excitement, you’ll likely become bored, and ultimately it will fail. Just because it’s online boutique is low cost doesn’t mean that it’s always a good fit.

Make questionnaire and do survey to decide your target market

In business, it is nearly impossible to target everyone as your customer, especially if your product only belongs to a specific niche or market segment.

Learnin Fashion Designing, Create or Get a supplier

Do you have a supplier? No? Then source out one who is reliable. A business person who wishes to be carrying an inventory will need to look for a supplier who will guarantee a full-size run of the products he wishes to have in his store.

Learning Advertising. Branding and Promotional Techniques

Your online shop is where you can showcase the quality of your goods the most, so it is very important to choose the right platform for your business. If you haven’t found one yet, consider platform like Shopify because they made it really easy.

Product Design Quality and Segmentation

Before finalyzing an online clothing store product range, you must consider the type of clothes you want to sell. Perhaps you can sell baby clothing for expecting mothers, back to school clothes for students or sports attire for gym goers. It is important to know who your target audience is before you start your business. This will help determine everything you do from the types of clothes you sell to how you advertise to your clients.

Franchise or Individual

Starting as a franchise can give you an upper hand by buying into an already established brand. However, within the online boutique space, there are not a lot of options. In many cases it is more cost effective to either start your own brand or buy an existing one.

Social Media

There are two ways to sell your products on Facebook: setting up a Shop Section on your brand page or connecting a third-party eCommerce service to Facebook.

Once you have a business page, you can set up a Facebook Store by adding a Shop Section to your page. This feature will allow you to sell products to your customers directly from your page, and it will appear next to the other sections on your page, such as Timeline or About.

When it comes to starting an online business, your startup costs will depend on several factors! Here’s a list of some of the other things you need to consider as well.

  • Revenue Velocity – How long after launch do you expect to make significant money?
  • Barriers To Entry – How hard do you want it to be for someone to copy your business?
  • Portability – Do you want to be able to run your business from anywhere?
  • Scalability – Do you want the business to scale easily once it grows?

Dropshipping is by far the cheapest and easiest way to start selling goods online which is why it tends to be the business model that most new entrepreneurs gravitate towards.

Revenue Velocity

For one thing, the revenue velocity of a dropshipped online store is much lower compared to a store that purchases inventory up front. After all, not having to worry about inventory or fulfillment costs comes at a price.

When it comes to dropshipping, your wholesale price will be higher. In addition, most dropshippers also charge a small fee whenever a dropship order is processed.

BFMEA Business Failure Mode Effect Analysis & Kaizen Business Model

Daily or Weekly do FMEA i.e. write all possible and impossible reason which can affect your business. Your FMEA plan is priority one, as it represents your goals and documents your angle and strategy; essentially your road map to achievement. The business plan should include an executive summary, financial aspects of the company, operational procedures and future projections for at least five years. You should also include any applicable investor information, details about products and services you intend to offer and marketing information.

Role and responsibilities of different types of product designers

Our product design students are working in different industries such as furniture, gaming, film, toy, automotive, fashion, interior etc. Our design students are master in front loading concept i.e. preponing of all possible failures such as mechanical, digital, physical, market or any other failure which can damage brand equity, reduce profitability or harm consumer.  Proto is planned after Excellent FMEA ( failure mode effect analysis), SWOT, PESTEL, 7P, PDCA, 5 Why, 5W1H, Physical Survey & data analysis so that the iterations of prototype model development can be minimize.

The process of prototyping—from creating simple wireframes to testing fully functional mock-ups—is one of the most potent and powerful set of skills any designer can master. It’s also fraught with peril in workplaces where the process is skipped in lieu of just “designing a prototype” as a simple deliverable to give to the next department to build. No matter how diligent your business is with prototyping, the actual process can often make or break your final product.

In the course of their work, product designers must consider:

  • who will buy the product and how they will use it
  • how to make the product easy and safe to use
  • how to make the product visually attractive to the target audience
  • what materials to use
  • how to make the product reliable
  • how to make the product cost-effective and environmentally friendly to produce.

Automotive Designer (Beauty, Interior, Looks etc)

Automotive

A concept car is typically a unique “one-off” effort to explore different ideas to generate conversations and discussions that help to shape the future development of cars. They are often incomplete, impractical, and rarely evolve into an actual production vehicle. There is little concern for manufacturability, fabrication costs, reliability, safety, performance or legal status for driving on public roads.

A prototype car is typically an “in progress” design for a car that is intended to ultimately go into production. There may be some experimental aspects on the prototype to evaluate whether the new technology is ready to be released into production. The parts that go into prototype cars are mainly existing mainstream parts (or a variation) — with a good understanding of their manufacturability, performance, supply, and cost. The prototype basically allows the manufacturer to confirm that they have a design that is ready to go into production, or to identify what details still need changes.

Toy Designer

Toy

There are many skills that are indispensable in the field of toy design. However, there aren’t many programs that award Toy Design degrees. Because there isn’t an academically pre-determined path for entrance into the field, budding toy designers often need to look at the career path and plan their coursework according to the most highly sought after skills from employers. Many toy designers start with a degree in the arts, such as a design degree, or in areas such as consumer engineering. The necessary skills include design creation, often computer assisted or CAD, and engineering skills to complete production of a prototype. So, a toy designer will often be well versed in both the creative thought process and the technical aspects associated with materials and construction.

Responsibilities can vary, but are likely to involve:

  • meeting clients or colleagues to discuss the design brief
  • working closely with engineers, model makers, sales and marketing staff and other skilled people
  • understanding technology, production methods and materials (such as textiles, metals and plastics)
  • working within budgets
  • working to deadlines
  • researching similar products and developing ideas
  • making sketches of ideas by hand or computer, and developing the most effective ideas into detailed drawings using specialist computer software
  • ordering samples or working models of designs
  • producing reports and presenting their ideas to colleagues and clients at various stages of the design process
  • modifying their ideas according to the feedback they receive at these sessions
  • overseeing the testing of the chosen design
  • making presentations to potential clients in order to win new contracts.

Designers technical role and responsibilities:

  • Consult with clients to determine requirements for designs
  • Research who will use a particular product, and the various ways it might be used
  • Sketch out ideas or create renderings, which are images on paper or on a computer that provide a better visual of design ideas
  • Use computer software to develop virtual models of different designs
  • Create physical prototypes of their designs
  • Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements
  • Work with other specialists such as mechanical engineers or manufacturers to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill a need at a reasonable cost
  • Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical
  • Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval

Product Design & Designer : everything you need to know

Our Product Design classroom students are placed in many fields of application: medical devices, tableware, jewelry, sports and leisure, food preservation appliances, furniture, etc. and accordingly there work is different but have similar processes, systems and management techniques.

Product design consists in imagining and creating objects meant for proto sample production. The definition encompasses the physical aspects as well as the functionalities products should possess.

It’s about the entire process of creating usable products and experiences, starting by defining real people’s problems and thinking about possible solutions. That will eventually lead to the best design.

Design process begins by searching the problem, using research to help inform what a desogn solution could look like, and then validating those proposed solutions with user testing. From there, MIFT define the scope of executing design ideas and kaizen them further until MIFT have an experience that we are confident putting into proto sample production.

The detailed specification of a manufactured item’s parts and their relationship to the whole. A product design needs to take into account how the item will perform its intended functionality in an efficient, safe and reliable manner. The product also needs to be capable of being made economically and to be attractive to targeted consumers.

Digital Product Design is the intersection of the various UX design disciplines that go into creating modern digital products. These generally include UI design, interaction design, user research, information architecture, problem definition and design thinking, prototyping, visual design, motion design, and management of design systems. While the trend in recent years has been for Product Designers to be generalists and proficient in all of these disciplines, it has also become widely acknowledged that individual designers often have greater specialty in a subset of skills and that successful Product Design is best achieved as a team effort that leverages individuals’ areas of expertise.

Universal design is a design philosophy that when implemented, creates products (as well as systems, services, and environments) that can be accessed, understood and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability or disability.

Human-centered design looks to go even further by finding ways to improve the design process again – with the intention of ending up with products that do a better job of catering not only to people’s physical needs, but to their emotional needs as well.

there is always a trade off between what’s right and what’s financially gainful in the world of product design (and all business). The job of today’s product designers is to find a way to make financially successful products that are also globally responsible. Future generations are relying on our ingenuity and consideration.

User Researchers are the real champions of users’ needs. They delve into the mind of your customers. They ask the difficult questions, and take all the difficult answers. User Research gets to the bottom of everything. The user is always right.

Prototypers craft interactive experiences quickly and with ease. This is an integral part of the product development phase. Prototypes enable us to test our ideas quickly and cheaply. To within days or even hours, go from fifteen potential solutions, to five, to three.

A Product Designer has many names. You may have heard of titles like:

  • Experience Designer (XD)
  • Information Architect (IA)
  • Interaction Designer (IX)
  • Experience Architect (XA)
  • User Interface (UI) Designer
  • User Experience (UX) Designer
  • And many more

A few examples of things that are designed by product designers are:

  • Everything but with other departments
  • Medical Equipment
  • Cars, Jets, Ships, Train interior, outer body beauty etc.
  • Dinnerware (plates, bowls, mugs, etc.)
  • Kitchen tools & appliances (stoves, toasters, kettles, cutlery, etc.)
  • Consumer electronics (computers, smart phones, VR headsets, etc.)
  • Residential & commercial lighting
  • Toys
  • Bicycles
  • Camping Equipment
  • Furniture
  • Systems and services
  • And everything!

Ecommerce SEO easy tips

This post is for our Fashion Ecommerce SEO classroom students and it can be useful for you  Whether you’re:

  • The SEO manager for a bigger ecommerce company looking to demonstrate the ROI of SEO.
  • A smaller online business owner trying to find scrappy ways to grow your business.
  • Or a growth marketer looking for innovative and highly effective ways to increase traffic.

Ecommerce SEO is the process of making your online store more visible in the search engine results pages (SERPs). When people search for products that you sell, you want to rank as highly as possible so you get more traffic.

There are following diffrent areas where ecommerce SEO understanding needs to focus:-

  • Lay the foundation for strong ecommerce SEO
  • Get to know your industry and audience
  • Conduct keyword research
  • Optimize each page of your on-site content
  • Build authority for your site and brand
  • Check your site for SEO problems and errors

If you are running an Ecommerce store, then you should be using HTTPS sitewide!! Almost all ecommerce stores feature many forms which collect personal details from users. So it’s good practice to make sure ALL information is encrypted (not just credit card details). Like with all SEO campaigns, Ecommerce SEO should begin with keyword research. If you have Ecommerce tracking set up in Google Analytics, you can get a rough sense of the most important pages.

With more and more online traffic coming from mobile and tablet devices, it’s imperative to use a mobile-friendly, responsive design for your website.

Find keywords for your homepage and product pages, Be careful to not choose keywords that are too broad or too competitive. If the match is too broad, you likely will end up with a high bounce rate and low conversion rate because of people clicking through to your site and not finding what they are looking for. Additionally, if you go after keywords with high competition, it will take a long time to achieve high rankings.

Users are quick to leave a website if it takes too long to load. Install Google Analytics so you can start collecting data and getting insights right away. A Google Webmaster account will give you access to tools that help you learn about your site as well as manage things such as crawler access, sitemaps, and URL preferences.

Chances are, your competitors are ranking for keywords that you haven’t even thought of yet.

To take advantage of these keywords, you can do a simple Google search for what they are ranking for.

Every 60 seconds, 700,000 Google searches are performed. That’s a lot. And, want to hear something even crazier? The average consumer processes 100,500 digital words on a daily basis. So, with all this information, how do you make sure customers find you in the search engines?

A few years ago, a study found that only 4.8% of searchers make it to the second page of search results. Page 3? Only 1.1%. I suppose that’s why they say the best place to hide a dead body is on page two of Google.

Your rank on the first page matters as well. The same study found that the top result grabs 32.5% of traffic on average. The second result grabs only 17.6%. By result six? You’re looking at less than 5% of traffic on average.

Add long-tail keywords to your ecommerce site. Put them in the names of your products and their descriptions.

Long-tail keywords don’t have as high of a search volume. This means there is less competition from other brands using keywords for their SEO strategies.

All major search engines, such as Google, use bots to index the information contained on websites. These automated bots are also known as web crawlers.

The information on these pages is stored in the search engine’s index.

When a consumer searches for a term, the search engine references the index and chooses the pages with the most relevant results.

  • Prioritize pages: Which pages on your site get the most traffic? Start with them. Additionally, if you want people to focus on a specific or flagship product, optimize for that product first.
  • Create a workflow: SEO requires you to meet lots of specific requirements. Choosing keywords, adding meta data, naming your images correctly, adding image alternate attributes, and incorporating related keywords all fall under this category.
  • Check out the competition: Your ecommerce SEO strategy should be designed to outwit the competition. Look at your top competitors’ sites and check out their SEO efforts. Identify ways to make yours better.

Content entices your potential customers to spend more time engaging with your brand—helping them feel much closer to your brand than they otherwise would. If your content is scattered all over the place on your site without any real structure, you will be working against your other efforts to improve organic traffic.

Internal links to content are one method to help refine the structure of your site and boost your chances of getting discovered.

Including similar product links to your each product and each category pages inside your posts will capitalize on the SEO traction you earn from your blog articles to help guide your audience to specific product pages.

Best possible easiest tips to get healthy traffic to your blog

Our Fashion Blogging class students ask us “Why is my blog not getting traffic?“, and it’s perhaps one of the most popular questions ever asked in our Blogging, SEO, Content Marketing Lectures. Out blogging lecture students have made good earning initially but after some there interest lost due to drop in earning. Rather theory, follow below steps to have healthy traffic to increase your monthly salary from blogging plus SEO plus neuromarketing:-

Until you get to 10,000 subscribers, you should spend double time promoting your posts as you spent on writing them. Or even more, if you can. So, if you take 5 hours to write a post, you should spend at least 10 hours on outreach Minimum.

Popular become huge popular easily. Learn astroturfing, recommendation and crowd psychology impact on digital behaviour of readers. Set artificial trend, then promote it – Kaizen it – Improve it daily. Find errors and mistake in content and emotion. Further improve it then advrtise it. Apply PDCA plan do check act on your blogs. Check your most popular, liked, shared blog, ask your family members, friends and other people to share it as much as possible.

The web is full of ‘SEO companies’ promising first page rankings but in reality what happens is that their methods and techniques destroy every opportunity your website has for getting organic traffic. As a general rule of thumb don’t believe anything you read on the web before double checking their claims.

Comment on other peoples blogs go out an interview top bloggers or successful people either online or in person. Ask to be a guest blogger. Take advantage of the other people’s networks.

In terms of traffic, if you were hit by Panda or Penguin or any other algorithmic changes, then you will see your traffic to drop dramatically from one day to the next. You can open your Google Analytics report and find out the actual date that traffic changed.

One of the strengths of social media is its power and leverage to get your content out to other platforms and channels where your audience is hanging out. So put your videos on YouTube, post your articles to Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and don’t forget others like Technorati and Digg. Use you blog as a homebase and distribute  and leverage your content to your social media outposts. Go to where your potential audience is. Facebook has over 600 million users, now that is an audience.

One of my most straightforward strategies involves identifying people who are sharing content that’s similar to your article and reaching out to them in hopes of getting them to share your article as well. There are several ways to go about this, but BuzzSumo is a particular tool that MIFT recommend to students because of the detailed information it provides and insightful metrics.

We suggest students to Use Klout, It involves a four-step process.

  1. You find influencers who are experts in the topic you’re writing about
  2. You contact them and ask for a quote
  3. You add their quote to your article
  4. You ask them to share your article containing their quote

In the olden days, the rule used to be, “Publish as much as possible, as fast as possible.” Content was sparse, so you could crank out a measly 300-word article in five minutes and still get traffic, not because the article was good, but because it was the only article on the subject on the web. Today though, the web is bursting at the seams with content on every imaginable topic.

Hanging Cabinets

Cabinet design has become much more efficient in recent years. Deep drawers on perimeter and base cabinets that bring items at the back of the cabinets out into the open means that fewer kitchen cabinets are needed overall. In response, designers and homeowners have shifted to removing upper cabinets on at least one kitchen wall, often to create an expansive window wall that can deliver views and lots of natural light.

Mix of different colour & form of leather

Leather couches and chairs are nothing new, 2019 expect to see more leather accents being used in unexpected places.  Mix darker, unique leathers paired with bright, white cabinetry. When designing a space this year, don’t be afraid to mix what may be considered masculine elements (such as leather) with feminine touches to bring more variety to your decor.

Lush Jewel

Lush jewel tones evoke elegance and opulence; if you want to add a regal feel to your room, then jewel tones are a requisite way to go. As furniture trends go, classic jewel tones are pretty safe as they can be styled up or down and have the feeling of longevity about them.

Hued Furnishing

Look for brilliantly hued furnishings and extras even in the smallest of doses as jewel tones pair well with just about any design style and when mixed transitionally, can help to create a chicly layered, relaxed look.

70’s Bedroom

Take the acid patterns from the ’70s and remove all the colors to get this modern take on a classic, combine them with raw-looking wood and you’ve got yourself a winning bedroom inspiration. Plants and watches are also a good combination for this master bedroom trend. It seems minimal and minimal it would be if not for the patterned wall and amazing chandelier. Up your minimal design a notch with an outstanding piece to achieve this defining master bedroom trend for the next year.

Outdoor Furniture Lightweight Movable Natural Material

Lightweight designs are great for small spaces such as balconies as they won’t take up too much space. Powder-coated stainless steel is also low-maintenance and rust-resistant, making it a great choice if you don’t have the time for much upkeep. 2019 will see a shift towards natural materials and colours that blend in with the outdoor environment.

Equally Bold Arts & Graphics

It’s only fitting that a wider palette for wall coverings should go hand-in-hand with a keener eye for art. And yes, that means saying goodbye to “live, laugh, love” signs, please. Signs like ‘dream’ or ‘romantic’ make your room feel the exact opposite.

Quartz countertops

Engineered quartz was finally crowned the most popular countertop material in 2019 following a three-year decline in granite. The natural stone and resin material is incredibly durable and can visually mimic the look of more expensive and maintenance-heavy materials like marble and slate.

Interior & Real Estate Photography Tips

There are primarily tips for interior designing process, photo editing and camera setting. Follow following tips to make post production easy:-

photo101_grids

Be very careful with the angles. If you don’t want to spend your time fixing this, it would be better to take the interior shots at the height of about 5 feet. Remember also to hold the camera straight, and not to move it. Make sure that all verticals are perfect. Remember, that you should show the room in a favourable way, and not to show a completely different place.

photography

When taking photos of rooms, beds and other furniture, try going from one corner to another corner. Shooting them square on will create a boring composition. During your photo shoot, go for lines from the bottom left of the shot to the top right of the shot. This kind of line will take the viewer’s eyes into the shot.

Photos that do not have straight lines might work for some portraits, but they look terrible in real estate photography. You can resolve this issue quickly in Light room by using the transform tab. Here, you can match up lines in your photo that should be parallel or it can even automatically straighten lines, and it does a decent job.

A wide shot can reflect your room from the best angle possible, but in such cases, it is very important not to overdo. Focus on the 16-24mm range on full frame, and you’ll get excellent interior shots. It’s also unnecessary to shoot every element of your room, while, for example, half of a table will look quite appropriate, and our brain and eyes will ensure that we see the other half.

large mirror

A common mistake of amateur photographers is catching themselves taking the photo in the mirror. Photographing bathrooms or bedrooms, make sure to steer clear from the mirror – your presence in the picture will ruin the shot.

lighting at corner

The hardest part of interior photography (besides the light) is the lack of space. So don’t be afraid to move furniture when it is standing in the way of creating a beautiful shot. Or shoot from the hallway into the room at the point where you won’t see the doorposts in the viewfinder anymore.

In fact, almost all architectural photography tips for beginners include at least one recommendation about light. And it is not surprising, as the light is probably the most essential thing in a shooting. Before you start taking the photo, you should first switch on all the light sources. They will not provide you with the full lighting, but this will create the warm and pleasant atmosphere in the room. While shooting your kitchen, remember about oven light as well.

Editing-

If you notice some unwanted elements, you can easily remove them with the help of the Spot Brush tool or Photoshop filters for interior photography. In Lightroom you will meet 2 variants of this brush: Heal and Clone. Healing will suit better for the correction of tiny spots due to its soft structure, and Cloning will allow you to delete some reflections or glares. Moreover, you can also utilize this tool to take away such things, as an address number, when the situation requires.

Increase the Clarity slowly. It’s a great tool to enhance the image, avoiding adjusting the contrast. In addition, it makes the whole photo sharper. You can also experiment, by making the blacks darker at the same time. Watch the next interior photography tips and techniques tutorial for proper understanding.

RAW files contain all the data that you capture, unlike jpegs that are compressed and ‘edited’ in the camera. You do need Photoshop’s camera raw processor or Lightroom so you can retrieve a lot of information in blown out or underexposed area’s without loss of quality.

Camera Setting-

APERTURE

Keep your aperture set to f/7.1 to f/9 unless you want shallow depth of field to highlight a particular subject within the room.

SHUTTER SPEED

Depending on how much natural light you have available, your shutter speed will generally be between 1/60 and 1/2 a second.

ISO

In order to use a faster shutter speed, you’ll need to raise your ISO, but make sure you’re not introducing too much digital noise by trying to keep ISO below 400. Test out different ISO settings on your camera before the shoot to determine how far you can go without reducing picture quality.

  1. Make arrangement and take photo of vignette before buying

Things look good in store but not same at home. The primary reason is environment, light colour and intensity, available free space, wall colour, music, smell etc. At home things are completely different. Visual Merchandisers are specialist in environmental psychology, visualization, arrangement, decoration so that high selling rate can be maintained. At home if this work is not done by interior stylist then same object will not look good as it was on shop.

  1. Imbibe Minimalistic approach in life

Japanese traditional approach influenced modern interior heavily. Have flawless, clean and unoccupied walls, floor and rooms. There is no need to put lots of decoration items, or invest money in decoration. Having organized, hygienic, flawless room with minimum furniture and minimum essential items. It is called 5S technique and followed in Japanese home, school, industry etc.

  1. Make visual Array, Pattern, Sequence while arranging things

Old or new, cheap or costly whatever items are available for decoration, make a collection. Knickknacks scattered around a room look more like clutter and tend to lose their importance. Make array, specific pattern and theme based sequence of these items.

  1. Flowers

Based on space, light, colour and environment decide theme of decoration. Making real flower bouquet daily is very costly and time consuming. Buy artificial flowers of specific decoration theme from different species, colour, size, texture available in market and then arrange them. Change this arrangement weekly or monthly.

  1. Odd Colour Popup

All white like Scandinavian with small amount of Red – just a hint of this peppery hue is adequate to grab attention and make space more stimulating.

  1. Throughout Cohesion

When styling different rooms, Plan a common story which connect all these rooms. It is not needed to have same wall colour or furniture in all these rooms. Just have one object common or with same colour, style, theme etc. For Example having similar sun-mountain wall painting in each room or same flower bouquet or same indoor plant in each room; this will grab attention very easily and encourage the guest to ask why same painting, flower or plant?

  1. Design in Slices and maintain viewing angle-span

Don’t design whole space in one go, Take photographs of small spaces, corner, wall, celling in slices. While taking photos use furniture position, eye level, entrance and other door and bed eye level. Now when someone is standing or sitting these views he/she will get for that particular space. Now from this point of view start decoration items. Keeping items behind sofa on floor will not yield; try to put in eye level. Hanging indoor plant above eye level 7 to 9 feet or keeping just on floor – what matches will also depend upon roof height, sun light availability etc.

  1. Flexibility of iterations

Have certain things fixed but have some flexibility so that the use can change interior arrangement every month and after little iteration he/she will define optimum moving space, place to keep handy items such as keys/phone/remote/daily use items etc.
