The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Procedure ISAPS report ranked most plastic surgery-getting countries as below –

  1. The United States
  2. Brazil
  3. Japan
  4. Italy
  5. Mexico

 

The U.S. had approximately 4 million total plastic surgery procedures in Year 2016, whereas Brazil moderately followed at 2.5 million. A lot of less confident people of above 5 countries were, are and will be getting all kinds of plastic surgery. Additionally According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in the year 2014, there were 15.6 million cosmetic procedures done in the United States, which is an increase of 3 percent since 2013.

  1. France: US$7.3 billion (17.3% of total beauty/skin care exports)

  4. Germany: $3.2 billion (7.6%)
  5. Singapore: $2.8 billion (6.7%)
  6. Japan: $2 billion (4.7%)
  7. United Kingdom: $2 billion (4.7%)

One more study was done by InStyle. The statistics appears aligned with the results of investigation that imply that almost half of American women feel unattractive when they aren’t wearing any makeup. As per Nicolos Micallef, Euromonitor International’s 2017 edition reveals a strong beauty and personal care industry in 2016, with a respectable 5% growth. For the second consecutive year, the premium segment outperformed its mass counterpart, with nearly 6% growth.
