Game of Thrones has won a numerous prominent awards in its seven years on air, but the BAFTA TV Craft Special Award being handed out at this year’s ceremony (on Sunday, April 22) is a little different. This prize recognizes the behind-the-scenes craft that has gone into producing one of the most striking shows on box: the make-up, the costume, and the set design. Game of Thrones is already chock-full of characters, but there’s always room for a few more. Eight new faces we’ll be seen in coming season 8. None of these roles are as significant as, for example, book character Harry Strickland, who will be played by actor Marc Rissman, and however they’re tasty food for reflection.

April 17, 2018 was the seventh birthday since the show began airing consecutively seven gods, seven kingdoms, seven books, seven years of seasons.  Williams’ first specialized role was that of Arya. She was cast in 2009 at the age of 11 and only, has held the role since that opening casting, including appearing in the original pilot that was scrapped and re-done. Nine years later, she’s branching out into Marvel films. A full-fledged megastar artist and domestic name, Williams seems to be making the evolution from teen star to mature star with no a hold-up. For Williams, the time that Game of Thrones started airing was a great deal, preparing her on the course she’s on these days. But she wasn’t the simply one who was tweeting about GOT’s birthday that morning.

The Game of Thrones administrator Twitter handle in reality kicked things off, with the hashtag #7Years7Kingdoms. The Redditor MrSilenceT considers that the Night King and his White Walkers are in fact the misunderstood heroes of Game Of Thrones. And it’s based on “the event that has most shaped George R.R. Martin as a young adult.” On an episode of the Canadian talk show, George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, Martin said: “Before researching the Vietnam War, I just thought that we were in another war and we were helping poor people defend themselves against evil communist aggression. And then I actually researched the war, […] suddenly, it did not look at all so clear cut to me.”
